Sunset From Wehrerweg

I coming back from a bike ride straight to city center to choose a place and take a picture of the sunset. As I was getting closer, you could see the Sun just barely coming through the clouds. After the roundabout I saw my opportunity to take this picture. It was a matter of seconds to set everything up before the Sun disappeared behind the clouds.

It’s usually when you least expected, the nature shows something extraordinary. I hope you like it too, please if you do let me know…

I have opened a beer to celebrate a little victory! 200 images to this date and 977 fans joined this project…As I look at some of the stats, I see that the last 100 days has been especially great. Thank you all for your support through sharing and likening and commenting on my pictures…I love your support! Big thanks!!!

Few people have recommend me this place so I went there yesterday. I had no idea about the size of this place…I like new places, new spots from where I can take nice photos and this one was very surprising. The flowers were gorgeous and then the Sun came through the clouds and filled the scene with colors…It looked fantastic!!!

I hope you like this image too…Please let me know if you do and give it a thumbs up…

Holding my tripod, pushing it down to make it as stable as possible was the only option. The wind was crazy today! Definitely not for taking pictures with a lightweight tripod. In case like this, you need  a heavy duty tripod with a proper head that would withstand these conditions. I caught myself waiting for a gab where the wind would slow down for a moment to take some shots…Kind of now or never!

I like this shot and the colors, they give me a feeling of a warm summer. That’s the funny thing, you can hardly see that there was any wind at all.

Anyway, please if you like it, give it a thumbs up…

View From Begijnenhofwal

I was editing some images from recent days and I have found this one. I marked it as to process it later, but have completely forgot about it. I believe it has been taken at the same day as the picture 185…

I really like the colors on this image. On a bad day like today when the weather really sucks, it makes me happy to look at something positive and finding this picture made my day….

I hope you like it too. Please if you do, let me know…

Watersley Sittard

Today was a really busy day! I thought I will never make it out for the sunset. The sky was amazing and it would be pity to miss it. I rushed to finish my other work so that I could go.

Few days ago I’ve got an email from Steve, recommending me few spots around Sittard and one of them was this place. I jumped on my bike so that I could be there quicker. I came there just on time. The clouds were turning orange and I knew exactly that the only way to make this picture work, would be to create a panorama image.

I think it came out great. I hope you like it too. Please if you do let me know and give it a thumbs up.

Before Rain

There has been some incredible clouds forming today. I have missed the first round but the second was great. I was expecting some lighting but that didn’t happen. I would love to capture some lighting strikes, let say above St. Peters Church. This would the ultimate shot in my opinion. But anyway will have to get lucky next time.

I hope you like this image, please if you do, let me know and give it a thumbs up…

I took this image yesterday when I was cycling around. It wasn’t as easy image as some other ones. Real challenge was to figure it out what angle would work and what to eliminate from the image. After fiddling around for a while, I liked this view the most. It’s clear what it is.

I hope you like this image too…Please let me know if you do…

Pool At Orbis

I just came back home after being taking pictures at the Hospital where I found this small pool. I also bought a new lens Sigma 19mm f/2.8 and I wanted to test it out. I think the lens is brilliant!!! So sharp and because it’s a prime lens, the images should much cleaner. Will see, still have to do more tests.

I hope you like this image. I really like the pool and the reflections…Please let me know what you think

Sunset On Sittard Border

This is another time lapse shot from a 612 image sequence that I made few days ago. I thought I will share this one shot with you. It was a beautiful sunset!!!

I’m thinking of combining time lapses with a normal videos to highlight Sittard like it has never been seen before. It’s gonna be exciting to see some of the best spots in motion…I’m looking forward to it.

I hope you like this image, please if you do let me know.

Rabobank Sittard

I took this panorama of Rabobank Sittard yesterday, as I was chasing those last moments of sunset that happened for just few minutes. I wasn’t expecting that the Sun will eventually come through the clouds and fill the scene with beautiful colors. I wasn’t even thinking to take a picture of this building when I first passed it. Only on the way back, I saw it from a different angle that looked great.

To make this picture from the point where I was standing, I had to shoot vertically and think of a panorama as the only way to fit it all in…Usually I would try different variations and multiple takes, but this time I was really confident that this series of images were perfect the first time and will stitch together well.

I hope you like it this panorama…Please if you do let me know and tell your friends so that they can like it too…
