View From Donatusplein

This area, especially this corner of the Donatusplein was on my list for a long time. I kind of forgot about it and today when I was going on my bike around there I thought of it again. I stopped there to have a drink and relax on one of the benches. I was surprised how quiet and peaceful the area was. As I’m sitting there I thought of angles that would work well for the panorama…This one worked perfect and I like the reflection in the water.

I hope you like this panorama too, please if you do give it a thumbs up.

Storm

Came back from Ardennes and saw this amazing cloud formation. The storm was on the way and I was on my balcony taking pictures. I have never seen clouds like this before…It was heavy looking, like the end of the world was coming! Very impressive…

Here is a shot I took just moments before the rain hit it hard…I hope you like it too…

Today I’m posting right in the morning, because I’m going to Ardennen Belgium for a overnight trip. Some say it is beautiful down there and I have never been…I feel excited!!! I took this picture 2 days ago when I was coming back from a bbq party at the garden. I was trying to take a picture from the same spot in a winter time, but it wasn’t good as there were no leafs on the brunches…This looks way better and I like how the Sun shines on trees… I hope you like it, please give it a thumbs up if you do…

Going To Limbricht

Incredibly HOT today is the only way I can describe it! I hurried to be at this spot the right time so I wouldn’t miss the sunset…The Sun was again at it’s best and I really wanted to capture some of  the Sun rays that were again stretching across the sky. I also wanted to have the Sun located in one of the corner of the ”rule of 3rds grid” of my LCD display for a better visual feel.

After this panorama I cycled further and took a lot of nice pictures which I will share with you as time goes by…

I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do…

Ten Eijsden At Sunset

I think this was one of my favorite sunset here in Sittard so far…So colorful and I was on a good spot. I was coming back from Hoge Kempen National Park in Belgium and stopped on the way back at Ten Eijsden to take some nice images of the sunset…I was perfect! I took few hand held images and enjoyed the scenery until dark…Loved it!

I hope you like it…

Please let me know if you do…

Dramatic Sky At Kollenberg

Here is an example that the sky plays a huge role when it comes to photography…I wanted to photograph this place few days ago when the sky was clear. I went there and did the same panorama. When editing the the sequence of the images, I thought how boring it was. Yesterday I cycled there again when I saw the clouds forming. It was amazing to watch the transitions of the clouds from white to dark blue and at the same time watch raining at the back…

When it comes to photography, I love this kind of weather. There is nothing better than some awesome foreground and crazy looking sky…

I hope you like this image, please if you do give it a thumbs up…

View Over Munstergeleen

Today I went to do some time lapse videos. I went to Kollenberg first to have a better view over the dramatic sky. I set up my tripod and prepared everything for a time lapse. After about 125 pictures it started raining and I couldn’t manage to keep my camera covered…I tried as best as I could, but the rain was to heavy and so I finished it and hide myself under the tree. As soon as it stopped raining, I moved to another place and again prepared everything for a time lapse. It was great! The clouds were moving the right speed and I was standing there enjoying the whole view.

I have managed to edit the time lapse and I’m now exporting those images into a video file. It takes about 2 hours for a sequence of 1214 images so I will post the time lapse later…

I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do…

I hope that the time lapse will turn out perfect so that I can share it here with you…

Albert Heijn Sittard

Had to go to Albert Heijn to buy my dinner and so I thought of a panorama of the whole thing. The weather was great, no wind, just a perfect time to shoot some images….Haven’t even know that they upgraded their carpark…Looks nice…

Sweikhuizen village

This is an amazing spot where you can sit and have a view over the fields and the village. There is a path going all the way to Ten Eijsden in Geleen. One of my favorite places to hang out. There are mountain bike tracks and walking paths that are worth exploring. Once, I was sitting there on the edge between the forest and the fields, looking at the village and making panorama images. This image is combination of 8 images.

I hope you like it. If you heading that way, don’t forget your camera, it’s amazing there.

Bridge At Sunset

What an awesome day today! I have cycled few km today and took my camera with me. I went all the way to Wessem and back. You can check my ride by CLICKING HERE

On the way back the sunset was great. I was close to Born harbor when the Sun was at the best. I took so many pictures there and around the harbor. Also I have some nice pictures from Born and from other parts of Holland which I might share it with you separately.

I hope you like this image of the bridge. I do like the colors and the composition…
