View From Wilheminastraat

This image is from few days ago when I was coming back from a short walk around Kollenberg. The whole day was amazing! I also took some pictures in Stadspark, but what got my attention the most was this composition. I thought about picture like this so I took one. I love the light and the Sun rays…I hope you like it too…

City Center Panorama

I went to the city center to shoot pictures for my other project and I couldn’t resist to take a shot of this side. The Sun was shining on it, so the shadows pop up and the clouds were amazing. I always wanted to have a panorama of this side so I went for it today…I hope you like it, please let me know if you do and give it a thumbs up…

Sittard Museum Panorama

Hopefully something positive for the rainy day! Few days ago I went for a short walk to the city center and of course took my camera with me. Passing the Museum, I thought I will take few images or maybe do a panorama of the building from this angle. I liked the light in general and the sunset was beautiful too…Great light for taking pictures. I love how the Sony NEX 6 handles the noise. I had to boost ISO to 400 because I didn’t take my tripod with me and it was getting dark. The image was noisy but it came out more less how I wanted…All I had to do was to crop the sides and get rid of some of the noise…In overall, great experience!!!

I hope you like it too, please if you do, let me know.

De Juiste Toon – Oude Heerlenerweg

After I took this image 254/365 Oude Heerlenerweg I also wanted to do a panorama of this side…The weather was great, still a lot of light to work with. I thought about this corner of the street already before and so now was the time. I took 13 images going from left to right vertically and used Lightroom and Photoshop to edit it. I hope you like it…

Munstergeleen Pancratiuskerk

For the last 2 months I was thinking about taking picture of this place. I saw few images online and thought if I could do better. From my previous try I didn’t like the weather. I came there when it was too cloudy and the position of the Sun wasn’t as pronounced and also out of the frame. The second time I think I nailed it pretty well, at least in my opinion.

This shot is made from 9 images. I first took 5 images of the lower part and then 4 images of the tower. All done horizontally with 30% coverage. I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do and give it a thumbs up.

Light At The End

This was a really good day! I went for a walk as I would do whenever I need fresh air and relax a bit. It was about sunset time and I knew that around this time the walk is especially beautiful so I grabbed my camera too. As I’m walking on Dominicanenwal surrounded by the trees and the wall on the left, I saw this light at the end of the street that was getting stronger with every step I took. I have never seen it like this before, maybe I paid more attention this time, but anyway it was AMAZING almost like a tunnel view. I thought I would take a shot of this and share it with you…

I hope you like it..

255/365 Crop Fields – Kollenberg

Crop Fields – Kollenberg

It is amazing how quickly it’s changing at Kollenberg with the seasons. Just few weeks ago I was there taking pictures of the fields with no crops or any vegetation’s, just the dirt and now it’s almost overwhelming everywhere you look. Massive change!!!

I went for a mountain bike ride on the Kollenberg and then to Windraak and came to this part of the hill that is now covered with the wheat. I came from the corner and saw it in this beautiful light. I had to take a panorama. I wanted to capture it so that when I ride there in a winter I can remind myself how different it gets…

I hope you like this shot, please let me know if you do and give it a thumbs up.

Oude Heerlenerweg

I thought I will go to Oude Heerlenerweg as it is a nice street to take some pictures. It was amazing, the light was getting about right and I was standing there trying to figure it out a good composition when I saw the balloon approaching. It took me by surprise! It came into the frame at the right time, after I had everything set up so I did not need to adjust anything…Just perfect timing!!!

I hope you like it too, please let me know if you do…

253/365 Sunset At Wintrakerweg

Sunset At Wintrakerweg

I spotted earlier that it may be a good sunset so I packed my bike and went for a short ride. I was looking for a good spot to take a picture, but could not find anything that would be spot on. Only when I was coming back from Puth village, I liked the moment the Sun was giving the colors. The clouds were looking great. I cycled a little further until I reached Wintrakerweg from where I took this shot. Love the clouds and the surroundings! Place I like to come back to…So peaceful!!!

I hope you like it too, please if you do let me know…
