Orbis Medical Center
Few days ago I went inside the Medical center to take some images for a client. I first spent some time online looking for motivation. I saw some images and was excited to go there myself. I did not expected to be blown away! First I thought that this place is HUGE and it’s gonna be impossible to capture the essence of it! It really exceeded all my expectations as I was walking around digesting all that space. I was wondering how am I going to capture it with my humble 19mm Sigma lens. Simply not wide enough!!!
The only way I could impress anyone would be to do multiple shoots vertically and horizontally at once. The question was how far can I push it. Can I cover 150 -170 degrees, vertically and horizontally? I’ve done my calculations and realized that in order to cover as much I will have to take 36 images and then combine them in Photoshop without blowing up my laptop.
I did try few cycles until I had my hand rock steady and found that sweet spot to rotate my lens around the center point. It was great! I took couple of panorama images there and I’m glad that the client liked it too…
Here is one of the panorama I took that day…Enjoy it. Please if you like it, let me know..
