Today I was invited to shoot pictures for Pizzeria Da Kiko as they will have an advertising campaign in tv. I was more than happy to take this opportunity to bring the best pictures possible. When I finished, me and my girlfriend headed home. As we were closer to the city center I saw this building with these beautiful lights changing colors going from light blue, red, green and purple. I thought this could be a nice shot so I set up my camera and experimented a bit. I want it to achieve the stars effect from the lights around so I went higher with my aperture and I’ve chosen f/9.0 which turned out to be the right choice. I’ve also tried f/16 and f/14 but didn’t like it the result. The images were slightly more grainy in shadows and it didn’t look as sharp as I would expected.
It’s good to experiment as you never know what settings will turn right for you…Also what works for one picture doesn’t mean will work for the other one.
Anyway I hope you enjoy this picture, if you do please give it a thumbs up and share it on Facebook.
