Sunset In Limbricht

At the beginning of the project I never had much of a desire to go to Limbricht and take some images there, but the more I’m into it the more I like those places there. I mean the castle is incredible. Some of my favorite stops I like to visit when I need to clear my mind and relax.

I went there after the exposition I had in Gruizenkerk to relax a bit. It was beautiful sunset going on. I cycled around the church and decided to take panorama of the graveyard and the sunset. I thought it could be a great image.

Hope you like it. Please if you do, let me know…

Limbricht Part 2

This is a second shot I like a lot from Limbricht. It’s a great place to take images. This time I didn’t have tripod with me and it was getting darker every minute. I wasn’t sure how it’s going to turn out with ISO that high. I didn’t wanted to have too grainy image so I went with f/6.1, but slightly higher shutter speed. Just enough so that I can hold it the camera in my hands and still have sharp images. I have to say that I end up with 10 images ranging from zero to -2 stops, so quite a bit of a aperture difference and very underexposed. Especially the right side of the image was darker. I knew that I can easily correct 1.5 stop difference in Lightroom so I wasn’t concerned about that. The problem was grain from higher ISO. I cleaned it up using noise reduction tool from imagenomic which worked great. After reducing the noise I used unsharp mask filter in Photoshop to bring back some of the lost details…

At the end I end up with quite a descent image…Next time with tripod and remote control…

Limbricht

Yesterday after the exhibition I wanted to relax somewhere and I thought about Limbricht as a perfect place to sit on one of the benches and watch the sunset. It was amazing to sit there and do nothing haha. Later on I took some images from the area and on the way home I stopped here at the entrance. I immediately thought of taking an image of the whole building/entrance. First and second try didn’t work out and I thought I will have to forget it, but then third try was perfect. I ended up with 17 vertical images which I then later stitched into one panorama. I was a good evening!

Fishing In Limbricht

What an amazing spot! Just the idea to sit there was enjoyable and then seeing those fisherman pulling out descent size fishes added to great feeling. I didn’t wanted to be annoying or causing too much of a noise while making pictures so I made one panorama sequence and then I just sat there quietly. I was great to watch the surroundings and see the castle like this…

I hope you like this image too, please if you do let me know…

Limbricht Castle

This was a beautiful day! I cycled for the first time to Limbricht to take some pictures there. I had no idea how amazing this place is. I end up taking a lot of pictures from many angles of this castle. I like how they built it on a hill surrounded by water. Super Amazing!!! I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do and give it a thumbs up…

Limbricht Castle Panorama

I just finished editing this panorama I took few days ago while cycling to Limbricht. The weather was perfect and I wanted the castle to be the main point of the picture. I like how the castle is built on top of the hill surrounded by water. It just looks great! I hope you like it, please if you do, let me know and give it a thumbs up…

Going To Limbricht

Incredibly HOT today is the only way I can describe it! I hurried to be at this spot the right time so I wouldn’t miss the sunset…The Sun was again at it’s best and I really wanted to capture some of  the Sun rays that were again stretching across the sky. I also wanted to have the Sun located in one of the corner of the ”rule of 3rds grid” of my LCD display for a better visual feel.

After this panorama I cycled further and took a lot of nice pictures which I will share with you as time goes by…

I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do…
