Abshoven in Munstergeleen

Here is a fun project shot I took two days ago on the way to Geleen. I’ve got a tip to go and take a picture of a newly re-build complex in Munstergeleen. When I arrived there I could see some other photographers also taking images of the complex so I decided to observe and wait until they are finished. It was interesting to see how other photographers work and what angles do they consider.

While I was waiting there I spotted a little pond few meters away from the complex. I knew that from there its going to be beautiful reflections of the water and so I waited until everyone was gone and then I went there to experiment. To my eye it worked perfectly. I love the reflection of the water! I hope you like it too. Please let me know if you do…

Sunset At The Stream

I love that single track that goes along the Geleenbeek. I went there today on my bike all the way down to Geleen. I stopped few times to capture the sunset as it was looking beautiful with the stream. I took this shot just before the Sun disappeared behind the horizon. I like it a lot, hope you too…

Munstergeleen Pancratiuskerk

For the last 2 months I was thinking about taking picture of this place. I saw few images online and thought if I could do better. From my previous try I didn’t like the weather. I came there when it was too cloudy and the position of the Sun wasn’t as pronounced and also out of the frame. The second time I think I nailed it pretty well, at least in my opinion.

This shot is made from 9 images. I first took 5 images of the lower part and then 4 images of the tower. All done horizontally with 30% coverage. I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do and give it a thumbs up.

225/365 View Over Munstergeleen

View Over Munstergeleen

Today I went to do some time lapse videos. I went to Kollenberg first to have a better view over the dramatic sky. I set up my tripod and prepared everything for a time lapse. After about 125 pictures it started raining and I couldn’t manage to keep my camera covered…I tried as best as I could, but the rain was to heavy and so I finished it and hide myself under the tree. As soon as it stopped raining, I moved to another place and again prepared everything for a time lapse. It was great! The clouds were moving the right speed and I was standing there enjoying the whole view.

I have managed to edit the time lapse and I’m now exporting those images into a video file. It takes about 2 hours for a sequence of 1214 images so I will post the time lapse later…

I hope you like this image, please let me know if you do…

I hope that the time lapse will turn out perfect so that I can share it here with you…
