Sunset At Wintrakerweg

I spotted earlier that it may be a good sunset so I packed my bike and went for a short ride. I was looking for a good spot to take a picture, but could not find anything that would be spot on. Only when I was coming back from Puth village, I liked the moment the Sun was giving the colors. The clouds were looking great. I cycled a little further until I reached Wintrakerweg from where I took this shot. Love the clouds and the surroundings! Place I like to come back to…So peaceful!!!

I hope you like it too, please if you do let me know…

Last Bits Of Sun Rays

As I’m walking on the Kollenberg I have noticed a little gab in the clouds that looked like some of Sun rays may penetrate through. I still had about 20 minutes before sunset and I was heading towards Windraak. So I climbed the hill a bit and found a nice spot from where I thought the shot could be well worth it. Set up my camera and waited until the Sun rays comes through the hole in the clouds. It looked dramatic and I was happy to be there. It looked great!

After Storm

I was coming from Puth to Windraak looking at the sky and how quickly it’s developing same as looking for a good spot to make a panorama. This was a dramatic moment! I was soaked to the core from the rain that caught me on the way, but I was more concern about the beauty revealing in front of me. As soon as the rain moved away, the sky showed it’s absolute best and I tried to hurry up so that I wouldn’t miss the best moment!

As I’m cycling, I found this road that pointed towards to sunset, so I stopped, pulled my tripod and took 15 images from left to right.

I hope you like this image too, please if you do let me know and give it a thumbs up.

View From Windraak

This was another great sunset which I couldn’t miss. I have been waiting whole day for something interesting to happen. Cycling around the area few times and choosing the right spot. At first I was mapping where about the sunset will be. Then I set my camera and made few testing shots to determine the color balance, aperture and shutter speed. When I found what I was looking for, I waited until the right moment…The wind was quite strong and so the clouds were moving fast. I like that because you can get a lot of interesting colors and clouds that create amazing shapes. Also It’s never boring!

As I was waiting for the sunset, I also tried few vertical panoramas. After seeing how good that was, I decided to do a panorama.
