"In a study of 200,000 ostriches over a period of 80 years, no one reported a single case where an ostrich buried its head in the sand."
I don't know from where the story of ostriches burying their heads in the sand came from but it was cooked up well. Until today, I thought that's what they do when in danger but it's not true.
I was tricked.
Yesterday, I was cleaning up my files, photos and videos and tried to organize my computer when I stumbled on a collection of photographs I previously thought will go into my new book - "The Best Of Sittard - A Journey Through The Lens"
Check these 10 photos. Was I right to not include them in the book?
I've got nothing against them. In fact, I love these images but not for the book.
Over the last 4 years I took better ones.
More importantly the ones that evoke strong emotion, make you think and keep you engaged.
Those were picked, instead of just randomly picking any photo.
And to me, the most important thing was to tell a story from the first page to the last.
If you want to know what the the story is and see all the other 50 photographs, inspiring quotes and hold this majestic book in your hands, then swing by to the link below and get the loving book.
I talk to you tomorrow.
